My name is Lauren Hunter, and I’m an artist, animator, musician, and filmmaker based in Melbourne, Australia. Since graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Animation) I have gone on to pursue my Masters of Film and Television (Documentary), graduating in 2022.
Throughout my time at university, I developed a love for creating animated documentaries (Hairy, 184 Cups of Tea) which have since been exhibited internationally.
My current filmic work primarily focuses on identity, and issues centred around autonomy, or lack thereof in the form of both live action and animated documentary.
